# Can min\_extrude\_temp be issued for T1 independently?

### Basic Information:

Printer Model: Custom idex on separate carriages  
 MCU / Printerboard: Skr mini e3 v3 ,ebb42 toolheads  
 Host / SBC PAD7  
 klippy.log

_Fill out above information and_ **_in all cases attach your_ `klippy.log` _file_** (use zip to compress it, if too big). _Pasting your_ `printer.cfg` _is **not** needed_  
_ **Be sure to check our “Knowledge Base” Category first. Most relevant items, e.g. error messages, are covered there** _

### Describe your issue:

Trying to print on toolhead T1 without having T0 above min\_extrude\_temp .  
It seems the only workaround is setting min\_extrude\_temp to less than ambient temp.  
Fighting another errors too but managed to calibrate relative toolhead positions .  
Thanks for the help.

Been a few years since I built my IDEX but I just looked and I do set min temp to 10 for both extruders. Probably for the issue you’re having.

In my start print I use M104 to start them heating before I start homing then towards end I issue M109 so it blocks until temp is reached. I do same thing in my filament load/unload macros.

Thanks ,I´m in the same boat. It´s a workaround but nothing is going to be killed except some filament .I guess the extrude min temp was relevant with printed extruder parts that can be broken…
