# Internal error on G1 (step compress) on second print from startup

### Basic Information:

Printer Model: Custom inverted polar build  
 MCU / Printerboard: SKR pico  
 Host / SBC : RPI zero  
 klippy.log[klippy-4.log](https://klipper.discourse.group/uploads/short-url/qkYcf9uz0smojBzkzK53oBCA1Eb.log) (2.6 MB)

_Fill out above information and_ **_in all cases attach your_ `klippy.log` _file_** (use zip to compress it, if too big). _Pasting your_ `printer.cfg` _is **not** needed_  
_ **Be sure to check our “Knowledge Base” Category first. Most relevant items, e.g. error messages, are covered there** _

### Describe your issue:

I will get an internal error on G1 (stepcompress) after running KAMP adaptive meshing on the second print from a restart. It will not be a problem on the first print after a restart but will always throw that error on the second print.

What Klipper version are you running?

There is no note in the log.

I am running a fork that was last sinked to 0.0.0-5268.  
The only modification I made to the repo is to add a kinematic class for inverted polar kinematics to enable homing of the Alpha axis ([klipper-scaffold/klippy/kinematics/polar\_crane.py at master · itsameWolf/klipper-scaffold · GitHub](https://github.com/itsameWolf/klipper-scaffold/blob/master/klippy/kinematics/polar_crane.py))

You would need to reproduce on unmodified Klipper.
