# Issue with SAVE\_CONFIG after delta calibration

Hi All,

New here but have been using Klipper for a few years. I’ve been having this same issue for as long as I can remember.  
The SAVE\_CONFIG command causes klipper to disconnect but not reconnect after performing a manual delta calibration. Also, the new delta parameters aren’t updated in the config file, instead, the exisiting lines are just commented out. The new values are added to the save\_config block at the end though. This happens every time I run a calibration.

I’ve been working around this for a long time by manually adding the new values in the config file after a calibration. However, I have recently started trying to dial in the printer calibration by performing an enhanced delta calibration, but I can’t run DELTA\_ANALYZE if the printer has reset after the basic calibration.

I’ve updated octoprint and klipper to latest revisions and re-flashed the MCU. I know this is an issue that has cropped up in the past and had been solved but I’m not having any luck with it.
