# MCU 'rpi' error during config: Unable to open spi device. After complete re-install

After a Klipper Screen update completely destroyed everything, not sure how. I did a full reinstall.

I updated the Rpi to the latest OS (Debian Bookworm 64bit) then used Kiuah to install Klipper, Moonraker and Fluidd. Everything is installed an updated.

I’ve added my printer config file and now I have this error:

_MCU ‘rip’ error during config: Unable to open spi device._

Voron 2.4 350  
BTT Octopus Pro V1.1 H723  
Rpi4
