# MK3S, Klipper, Bondtech, Mosquito, configuration help

### Describe your issue:
Prusa MK3S
Einsy Rambo Board
PI 4 Running Klipper, Mainsail
I installed Klipper/Mainsail and got evverything running. Then switched it back to Prusa firmware, install Bondtech extruder with the Mosquito hotend, add the modded firmware, got that running. Then i changed the firmware back to Klipper/Mainsail. I am unable to get the printer configuration file tuned currently. Would anyone know or have done this setup and know of a good printer,cfg file, and do i need any other config files to get this to work?

Hi @Mathelmi ,
What do you mean by “unable to get the printer configuration file tuned currently”? Are there print quality issues? Is your extruder skipping? We need to know more specifics about the issue you’re having.

I did follow [https://github.com/dz0ny/klipper-prusa-mk3sm](https://github.com/dz0ny/klipper-prusa-mk3sm), that is how i got klipper running on the original MK3S, then i added a Bontech Extruder with a Mosquito hotend standards flow. I first got iy working with Bondtech’s modified Prusa firmware, Once i got it work, i reinstalled kilipper, but i can not get a work printer.config file to work. “Currently” should have been “correctly”. No i am not able to print yet. I need to adjust the config file correctly, and i think i may need an extruder.cfg file also or adjust the current one.

I worked out a few problems and got it to got through startup but fail shortly after on over temp on hotend thermistor. Which maybe fact, as on the first configuration file i use, even though it failed, turn the heater on and would not shut it off. Right after, i pulled the hotend heater power cable off the MCU. Basically went into temperature run away. I went back to the klipper/prusa printer.cfg and am try to work from there as it seem to be the most reliable one i can find.
I am in the process of install a new thermistor, but here are the files. I do not believe this configuration is correct either to run Bondtech/Mosiquito combination.

Sorry i went MIA, life happened.
I id get the thermistor replace and now getting reliable reads, but three time now after starting the printer and klipper the temperature for the nozzle got set to 220 deg with out me asking it to. First thing i am working on is get the bed flat.

i finish mechanistically flattening the bed. range: 0.133. Finish probe offset x 21 y 5. While doing this, several times Klipper set my nozzle temp to 220 without asking it to, then is faults because the temp does not raise, as i have unplug the power to the nozzle heating element just for that reason.

For me it looks that either the wiring is wrong, the the printer board is broken or the printer.cfg does not fit to the board.

The board is the stock prusa board, wiring has been confirmed.

What are the details on the thermistor you installed. The Mosquito typically use:
```auto
sensor_type: SliceEngineering 300°C
or NTC 100K MGB18-104F39050L32.
```
You have it as a stock Prusa:
```auto
sensor_type: ATC Semitec 104GT-2
```
Double check what you installed against [Configuration reference - Klipper documentation](https://www.klipper3d.org/Config_Reference.html?h=thermistors#common-thermistors)
Your log is too short to be of any real use. Start your printer and try preheating the extruder. Use “emergency stop” or the power switch in case of thermal runaway, unplugging wires generates false errors.
Upload a new log with the preheat attempt included.

I am using a prusa stock thermistor. What happens, i start my system, Kilipper connect with MK3S, some time i don’t even do anything, Kilipper disconnects from Mk3s, when i go into the print room the, the display shows ‘22 → 220’. If i have the power connected to the heating element the temperature runs away, that is how i burnt up the hotend in the first place. I am in the process of getting the hotend end unplugged with burnt PLA in it, it s full brake down of the extruder, the over heating made a mess.
