Must home axis first: 5.000 176.000 172,000

The error is telling you exactly what to do. You have to home the axis before you move it.

This is a really irritating thing in Klipper. I want to jog without homing why? Because if you have a failed print on the bed with the nozzle stuck in the print, you cannot release the nozzle by simply jogging Z, you have to home, BUT THERE IS A PRINT IN THE WAY

See:

> **[Configuration reference - Klipper documentation](https://www.klipper3d.org/Config_Reference.html?h=force#force_move)**

You could write a macro to FORCE\_MOVE Z upwards if typing the command in the console is difficult on your screen
