# Printer getting error and doesn't even start printing

### Describe your issue:

Basic Information: Here is what I believe is the error giving me the issue. The print goes through all the checks and such, heat the hotend and bed, then goes to home, and stops, and disconnects.

Should mention this is a brand printer, stock, and a new build on the BTT Pad with very little/none customization.

From the log, your error is: `Transition to shutdown state: Lost communication with MCU 'mcu'`

Thank you for the replay, I saw the error, and the BlockingIOError, Data dump and assumed it was something more than just a communication issue. I read the article you mentioned few question if I may-

Currently using UBS-C from printer to BTT Pad. From reading using the LCD serial connection is a more stable connection. Is this correct?

Currently, the only thing plus into the BTT is the single printer so is it safe to rule out, incorrect powering, and issues with other USB devices like Webcams?
