### Basic Information:

Printer Model: Two Trees SP5 v3
 MCU / Printerboard:MKS Robin E3 V3
 Host / SBC BTT Pad 7 w/ CB1 SBC
 klippy.log NA

_Fill out above information and_ _ **in all cases attach your** _ **`klippy.log` _file_** (use zip to compress it, if too big). _Pasting your_ `printer.cfg` _is **not** needed_
_ **Be sure to check our “Knowledge Base” Category first. Most relevant items, e.g. error messages, are covered there** _

### Describe your issue:

… Is there a list of thermistor designations for Klipper? I need to replace the nozzle thermistor and the ones I’m thinking of ordering define themselves a NTC100K 3950. The one now in printer.cfg is Epcos 100K B57560G104F. Are these, and other 100K thermistors equivalent? If not how do I know what syntax to use for defining it?

Thanks

Built in thermistor types are clearly defined in the documentation.

You can also use `[thermistor my_thermistor]` to define your own.

Thanks, I looked but didn’t find that in the Klipper docs.

Generic 3950 looks to be the one I want.

Thanks for the help
