I am a professional machine engineer who had several engineering services firms over the years. Lately I have been production director in a paper converting company and most recently I changed back to engineering in the form of maintenance manager of a construction company.
Hobbies range from motorcycles, motorcycle building and modifying, to astronomy and telescope building and modifying.
couple of years ago I have added 3d printing to my list of hobbies. Now I am designing my own improved cartesian, just to see if my engineering knowledge serves me right in thinking that it can be a more solid and more stable platform for FDM.
Time will tell, lots of time!
