22 years retired male widower, now 88 years old, out lived 3 women, and my first 3 children by my first woman.
I tested at 147 on the Iowa IQ test in 1946, quit school and went to fixing the then new things called tv’s in 1948. Got a 1st phone w/o cracking a book in '61, passed the CET test in 72 w/o cracking a book. Spent my last 19 working years as the Chief Engineer, 75% of the time the only engineer at the CBS affiliate, WDTV in West Virginia USA. My garage is full of cnc machines I put the “cnc” on. Including an 80 yo Sheldon 11x54 lathe run by an rpi4b just to see if it could be done. I write my own gcodes to carve things. And have been asked, tongue in cheek, if I could walk on water after being observed at work. I do what needs to be done. My experience is long and varied. I had fingerprints in the cameras on the navies Trieste when it went down into the bottom of the mohole in Feb '60. The water pressure is nearly 18,000 psi down there.
Now trying to stay ahead of the high failure rates of 3d printers when fed a steady diet of PETG filaments. The extra heat PETG needs is a machine killer.
