I’ve run into issues with not having common ground wires in the past between supplies. I would suggest adding a common ground wire from the SBC to the ground on the printer power supply. By doing this the SKR is not having one ground at power input and another at the USB port. You can develop a g…

I’m currently 4 hours into a long print without the ground wire and so far no issues. It is looking like it was the usb driver that was the issue.

Great that you got it solved.

I’m kind of surprised by this solution, since this will intentionally create a classic ground loop. The GND connection should be sufficiently provided by the USB connection.
