Lost communication with MCU FYSETC Voron 0

Basic Information:

Printer Model: FYSETC Voron 0
MCU / Printerboard: Cheetah V3
klippy (2).log (5.5 MB)
printer (2).cfg (13.4 KB)

Describe your issue:

…I have a Voron 0 from a FYSETC kit that has worked great for months but occasionally started having a lost communication with MCU error that has now progressed to it not even being able to last longer than 10 minutes into any print.
The issue also started happening when the MCU fan and the Extruder fan started making unusual humming. I’ve disconnected the MCU fan and disabled the extruder fan by making a file that would print at 30 c for both the bed and extruder to see if it was also a power supply issue based on the similar threads. I’ve gone over all the wiring and don’t see any issues. I have no extra devices attached and even disabled the screen. It does use USB to talk between the Pi and the MCU. The extruder fan is set to the default cycle time as well. Thank you in advance for anyone who might know what the culprit is.

See Timeout with MCU / Lost communication with MCU for some details.

In all cases I’m aware of, this has been due to hardware instabilities and this fits quite well to your description: If the error frequency was getting worse over the time, this strongly points to some degeneration, e.g. a slightly damaged cable becoming more and more damaged by wear and tear.
