I can not get this sonicpad to connect. I keep getting the message that the printer is not ready. The display is still on, on the printer. So I guess it didn’t except it. I have no idea what to do now. Can someone please give me a hand?
The Sonic Pad doesn’t run official Klipper and we don’t offer support for it.
Creality Sonic Pad
Update
Since July 11, 2023, Creality seems to have released a firmware with a newer Klipper version.
Again, they have not released the sources for this and the other components as required by the GPL license. Again, they are violating the OSS license and making money off the work of others.
Background
The Creality Sonic Pad is intended to be a “one-stop” solution for Klipper.

Ok i can deal with that. What can i run that will help me print faster?
jpmreno:
print faster
A note on printing faster with Klipper:
Will a Klipper Printer print much faster?
There is a widespread word that installing Klipper will make the 3D printer much faster than with any other other firmware.
This is essentially false or only true under certain conditions.

Definition of printing speed
Typically printing speed refers to finishing a printer job in the least possible time at best possible quality

Regarding the Sonic Pad: With a Raspberry Pi and similar you are on the safe side.
Klipper Architecture / Ecosystem
Calling Klipper a 3D printer firmware is not complete to its full extent. In fact it is a 3D printing application with an associated ecosystem.
The following overview shows how the different aspects interact. Only the red boxes is Klipper in its original sense, the other boxes are independent products forming the entire ecosystem.

General
Klipper will run on almost any recent SBC, or for this matter, any machine running Linux
Klipper’s hardware requirements are very low:
A Raspberry Pi (first generation - RPi0) is considered the lowest possible end (without webcam or OctoPrint)
From Raspberry Pi 3 and onward, no performance issues are to be expected, even with User Interfaces or webcams
Running a User Interface (especially OctoPrint) or a webcam might signi…
