Currently the MCU is simply supplying a switched output VIA SPI but could Klipper firmware be flashed and attached to the printer host VIA USB as “Force_MCU”? Find the correct pin ID and read it at whatever rate you want.
ALSO the ADS131M is available on Digikey. It could probably be connected to a RP2040
