Describe your issue:
…i changed electronics on twotrees sk1, with mb btt octopus pro 1.1, raspberry pi 4b , toolhead mks THR42 , fystec canbus. ive managed set up klipper and all the configs etc. but one stumbling block the inductive sensor does not work , i have now change twice thinking sensor maybe faulty.
its connected to the toolhead board mks thr42 to the dedicated probe port 5v and i measured with a multimeter while printer is on and i see its receiving 4.9v and 5v yet it does not work when attempting to home always nozzle crashing.
i dont know what ive done wrong, please somebody help
I suggest you unmount the sensor from the toolhead but leave the connections in place and then look at the signal pin (using a Voltmeter) while bringing something metal towards it (a build plate, pliers, etc.) to see if it changes state.
