Dual motor on same axis Movement simultaneously

i want to two stepper motor run on same axis simultaneously,

I used [stepper_x] and stepper_x1 but it not work,
then i implement a method according lower wiring photo,

Is it correct method ?

if it methed is wrong , kindly suggest the correct one,

Maybe you can connect both stepper motors in parallel to one driver and increase the current a bit.
