Error in Klipper Reference

Hello friends!
I found a very strange paragraph. According to the meaning in the selected places should be “spreadCycle”
https://www.klipper3d.org/TMC_Drivers.html
How would you communicate this to stakeholders? )))

It might be a bit complicated but I think it is correct. It boils down to:

  • StealthChop is causing a considerable positional inaccuracy
  • Interpolation is also causing a positional inaccuracy but lot smaller than StealthChop

So when using StealthChop you can also use Interpolation since this does not make much difference then. Or to put it the other way round: Don’t bother with tuning microsteps when using StealthChop

The first sentence compares StealthChop to StealthChop.
And in the second, it is proposed to disable interpolation for StealthChop, although this is where it is needed. )))

If using stealthChop mode then the positional inaccuracy from interpolation is small relative to the positional inaccuracy introduced from stealthChop mode.

  1. If you use stealthChop
  2. THEN the positional inaccuracy from interpolation is small
  3. RELATIVE to the positional inaccuracy WHICH WOULD BE introduced from stealthChop mode

Therefore tuning interpolation is not considered useful when in stealthChop mode, and one can leave interpolation in its default state.

  1. Therefore tuning interpolation is not considered useful
  2. WHEN in stealthChop mode,
  3. AND one can leave interpolation in its default state.

I understand your interpretation of the paragraph.
It’s really “bit complicated” )))
Ok, so be it!
