As far as I know, the new Flashforge Adventurer 5m printer comes with a modified version of Klipper. Since Klipper is released under the GPLv3 license and with Creality recently open sourcing their firmware would Flashforge also not be required to follow suit?
+1 - I’d love to get in contact with them about this. The firmware downloadable from their site refers to klipper quite a lot, so they’re definitely using it.
According to above, you guys are right, it looks like they are using forked Klipper there
