I upgraded my ender 3 to run klipper roughly a year ago and i have only recently noticed (by printing larger objects) that my printer isn’t printing in the center of the bed. What i mean by this is that in my slicer (i am using orca slicer 1.7.0) if i place a model in the center of the bed, it will print slightly further along in the x-axis and in the y-axis so the print will not be in the middle. I’m unsure if some of the settings i have changed in klipper and/or my slicer have caused this issue. I am using a powder coated PEI bed so i did change my printable area in both my klipper config and slicer to 235mm235mm250mm instead of the default 220mm220mm250mm. Any ideas on how to fix the issue would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!!
Thank you very much! I’ve had a look at the very helpful article you linked and have read through it. I changed my x axis “position_max” to “230” and my y axis “position_max” to “227” after manually moviing the print head to the limits of the bed to find the correct values. i just did a test print and the print still isn’t quite centered on the bed and klipper cancelled the print because of a “move out of range” error. What should i write in the printer.cfg to get the prints centered and has the move out of range error been caused by the changes i made to the limits?
