Print wont start after bed heating. Extruder not heating up either

Basic Information:

Printer Model:
MCU / Printerboard:
klippy.log

Fill out above information and in all cases attach your klippy.log file. Pasting your printer.cfg is not needed
When pasting code or config snippets use the code tags </> in the menu above

Describe your issue:

Hi I am trying to configure klipper on ender 3 and have run all the tests I can all seems to work fine. Except the print wont start once I load the gcode. the print bed starts heating up and reaches a stable 60 and that’s it nothing else happens. I have run and saved the pid caliberation several times and it doesn’t seem to change anything. please help

So can you please provide the klippy.log in your next post?

klippy.log (1.2 MB)
sorry about that. have attached the log file

As for the log, the PID tune went well, so the extruder is ok.

It seems there is no command to heat up the extruder.

Can you share the (zipped) gecode file you want to print?

CE3_xyzCalibration_cube.zip (68.2 KB)
this is the file I am trying to print. it’s a calibration cube sliced using Cura

Now it gets…

What printer do you have?

According to the printer.cfg it is a cartesian printer with two extruders?

ender 3 2018 with 4.2.7 board. only one extruder

Then your printer.cfg is a bit overdone.

There are a lot lot macros for T0/T1, that means two extruders.

Here is a config for the 2018 E3 - but without bltouch:

Thanks for this Let me try removing the extra stuff. also since you asked for the gcode I tried installing prusa slicer. The print now seems to work fine :slightly_smiling_face:
the issue seems to be with my settings with cura I believe
