hello,
I configured my machine as indicated in [X-In/1-Out Non-Mixing Extruder - Automate SuperSlicer & PrusaSlicer Filament Swaps - #16 by Snakn1] as explained by @jjarosz with prusaSlicer but it does not work. the machine starts printing with T0 then goes into purge to go to T1 finishes printing the first layer, goes to the second to print T1 then when it goes into purge to go to T0 I have this error:

Unable to deduce the active extruder stepper

what am I missing?
thanks

Don’t know if it would help but a just posted a dual extruder config:

mine only has one hot end but I’ll have a look

Hey I’m dealing with the same issues with my printer. Sovol SV02 with a Manta M8p Board and 2 Extruders. I keep trying to tune the other extruder using Orca Slicers built in pressures advance test but keep getting the same “Unable to infer active extruder stepper”. even after changing the G-code file Manually. It will print with the other extruder fine and with two colors. just wont print right when I do calibration test.

Fill out above information and in all cases attach your klippy.log file (use zip to compress it, if too big). Pasting your printer.cfg is not needed
