Raspberry Pi 4B Prices are down/Availability improved

I just got notifications that Raspberry Pi prices are down significantly over the past week or so and availability is a lot better. Prices are not down to where they should be but they’re less than 50% of what they were a few months ago.

You should now be able to get a 2G Raspberry Pi 4B for less than $90 USD. Looking around, I see a number of places that have the board at this price - as well as quite a few at the old pricing so shop around.

I don’t see the same price and availability improvement for the CM4. The boards seem to be still (well) above $100 USD for something like the CM4102000 (2GB with WiFi, no EMMC) with limited supply.

Happy Fourth of July to all our American friends!

Hello,

I am an American! Ha. Anyway, thank you both for the heads up and the data.

Seth

P.S. Prices may be, in the states at least, stuck high for eternity. Inflation and “things” are preventing lower available costs. I noticed sodas have almost tripled in price. Now, back to building and looking around for building appliances! @mykepredko and @hcet14 , thank you both for supporting this discourse. I see your names a lot on the scales when deciphering text in the issues of General Discussion .

Yes - it does seem like the shortage of RPi boards is coming to an end.

Cheers,
