Shared TMC UART configuration

Hello, did you sort out the configuration issue with “generic_cartesian” kinematics yet? I too running with 6 motors as yours and switched from hybird-coreXY to this new kinematic for experimen. Unfortunately, even with exact same UART parameters in different format of configuraion (generic_cartesian vs. hybird-coreXY), I got error prompted and failed to boot up my machine. Mine is running with MKS Monster8 V1.0 and MKS S-Gen L respectively (You know it, 10 stepper motors). Any advise?

Hi. The error you see does not seem to be related to generic_cartesian kinematics itself. However, could you share the full Klipper logs when running before and after the migration, so that we could hopefully help you with the configuration issues you see with generic_cartesian?

Thx for helping! In order to eliminate any side issue on experiencing new kinematic, I disassembled my Voron 2.4 and switched to basic CoreXY in AWD mode with 4 motors as well as NO SPI and NO external 5160 pro drivers anymore but in-socket 2209 along with same MKS Monster8 V1. So, I am now kind of no same issue or have worked around at the moment. I will then reverted to old 6 motors approach, 5160…etc phase by phase to see if same issue may happen again. Thx again!!!

As @dmbutyugin indicated, this seems to have been a TMC driver configuration issue.
I have moved the discussion into its own thread.
If the problem reappears, provide a full klippy.log
