Describe your issue:

Hey everyone!

I’m trying to configure the change filament option at a certian layer height in Orcaslicer so that I can use up the last of a few rolls of PLA on one print.

I only have the 1 extruder installed, and I want to be able to have the printer pause at the certain layer height, allow me time to change the filament and then resume at the correct Temp/PA/Flow settings specific to that filament.

I have enabled the “Single Extruder Multi Material” option in the subsection “Multimaterial” of Ocra’s Printer settings menu.

At the moment Mainsail is just reporting the following errors at the requested layer height for me to change the filament…

Unknown command:“T0”
Unknown command:“T1”

How do I go about configuring this properly to allow for this to happen?

I have attached a copy of my current printer cfg file

printer.cfg (8.1 KB)

Welcome Warrenzo,

I guess you need something like this https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005800968527.html. Easier than your approach.

Do you really have that much differences with your filament?

In your printer.cfg you have setup the filament sensor, but no macros that get in action in case of a filament runout.
Same is for non existing macros for manual filament change (M600).

Also: have you setup a G-code in OrcaSlicer for Change Filament?

I have a few older rolls of filament that differ in temp and flow mainly.

But there is no M25 macro in the provided printer.cfg

You should, as it was already requested, attach the klippy.log to your next post.

I didn’t add the M25, it was there when I chose the corresponding printer. I’m fairly new to Klipper so I didn’t remove it

But it does not appear in the printer.cfg.
