Suggested kinematic settings for lasers and other non-molten tools?

Thanks to the great PWM contributions others have made to Klipper, I have gotten a laser working on my Ender3, but have run into something I foolishly wasn’t expecting - the kinematics are designed for an oozing 3d printer nozzle, not a beam of light. As such, multisided test shapes show darker marks at each vertex because of acceleration settings. I have been playing around with SQUARE_CORNER_VELOCITY and ACCEL, but nothing seems to work perfectly. I read that setting SQUARE_CORNER_VELOCITY to 0 means the tool will come to a full stop at sharp corners, which is the opposite of what I’m looking for. Setting it to something absurdly high, like 10000, seems to be working for me. But I’m not really sure what would be best.

Thank you for any suggestions!
