Toolhead location to a tenth with axial components all whole numbers?

New RR Vcore4 build. I’m new to CoreXY and Klipper, so if this behavior is normal I’m all ears. While going through the calibration process the toolhead started running off the right side of the build plate. I began adjusting the default axial settings to see if it would explain my sense that the software was not recognizing the left half of the plate. Using whole numbers for the x and y axial contraints I then hit the X home button in Mainsail. The toolhead’s location was shown to be 212.6. If I’m using only whole numbers to define end stops, min, and max travel values what is setting the toolhead to six tenths?
I’m hoping this might provide insight into why the x values shown in Mainsail do not reflect the actual distance from the presumed origin at the front left corner of the bed. They are routinely less than half the Mainsail value (e.g. Mainsail x = 200 w/ actual distance from left side of bed to nozzle ~ 85).

Any insights would be appreciated.
