Describe your issue:
My Klipper installation is not an issue anymore, Also the printer prints and all axis are working fine now. It was a bit of a challenge to get to this point but it is up and running.
The main issue at the moment is that I get very bad/subnormal results compared to when I was running the Ultimaker 2 with normal firmware or with Marlin 1.1.4 (the Arduino runs out of memory on Marlin 2)
I will be glad to save my config as a template for someone who would like to do this to his now-old Ultimaker 2 but I feel I need to ask the experts (or anyone here) for advice on what I might be doing wrong with the basic config. I cannot run the input shaper as I do not get already good results following all the calibration processes and tests. It now feels like a bad printer when I know it prints fine (but relatively slow) on “non-Klipper” firmware.
I might as well just find a way to revert it back to Ultimake / Marlin but I do not yet want to give up.
Having the power of a laptop seems way better than the limits of the Arduino having to crunch it all up by itself. Plus I like to tinker and play but now I have reached my limit and I want this printer to be reliable again.
So Thanks for having a look. Let me know what you feel I should change. I started with quite empty config file so I may have done some mistakes… there is not really a wealth of knowledge or people who have seemed to update their Ultimaker 2…
