Wanted to upgrade my printer with an skr 2 and tmc2240 drivers in spi mode, but could not get them to work. I could not find the solution for this error after trying and triple checking everything on the printer and the pi.
As I’m running TMC5160 in SPI mode on a SKR2 I can confirm that your pin assignments are correct.
In my eyes there are only the correct jumper settings left to enable SPI mode:

Do you use BTT drivers or what vendor are they from?
All the jumpers are correct and bought the drivers from BIQU (BTT tmc2240 v1.0)
Just an advice, you might consider renaming the topic name.
