Hey all, having some issues on my anycubic vyper after a failed print globbed up and destroyed my hotend. I took the opportunity to upgrade the stock v5 volcano to a bmo dragonfly and replaced the strain gauge because I’d been having problems with probe accuracy. Now the probe stays triggered, when the old strain gauge is plugged in, or even if the strain gauge is unplugged, and I’m not sure where to start with diagnosing, or if I screwed everything up with the upgrades.
I’ve disassembled everything again leaving just the strain gauge to test, rebooted the printer and klipper between each condition test (changing, unplugging, plugging in the strain gauge) and updated Klipper to the latest firmware, nothing changes the problem.
I’ve tried changing the ‘!PB12’ in the config to ‘^PB12’ which gives me the opposite problem, the probe query consistently reports open, even with the strain gauge triggered. I’ve gotten rid of the ! completely with no change.
I just don’t understand why it’s suddenly not working after switching the strain gauge, even when I go back to the old gauge, especially when it’s unplugged completely.
Help?
