Well I got it working with another board the mks base v1.3 its still an atmega2560 chip and UART0 worked like a charm, I used the generic_ramps.cfg config, all steppers and endstop seem to work! Ill just have some tweaking to do in the printer config because of my franken setup.

Yeah i read that yesterday i get the same .elf.hex file for flashing, but it seems like everyone are flashing their boards with a .bin file.

[mcu] serial: /dev/ttyUSB0 Copied and pasted from the gt2560 basic config. It seems like I should use this interface but when I’m in the “make menuconfig” I only have the UART0 - 1 - 2 etc options to choose from
