Welcome RogerSweden,
@RogerSweden @Jason_Voorhees @Fractal @pluder @iotamy
The K1 printer is in my eyes a good printer for a reasonable price from a hardware perspective.
I read a couple of threats here regarding genuine Klipper and Creality’s K1. All of you are annoyed by “Creality’s Klipper interpretation of firmware” (probably a poor choice of words).
Why don’t you start a working group, many people instead of lone warriors to get genuine Klipper on the K1? I think you’ll have a good chance to succeed!
If you start a working group, please do it here.

Hi everyone, I’m new here.
Background:
I previously owned an Ender 3 Pro, but upgraded to a K1 Max last month along with the CFS. After replacing three components on the printer, I got the CFS working—until it completely broke the system.
I performed a factory reset by rooting the printer and resetting it via SSH. From there, I decided to unlock the system and switch to Klipper with Fluidd.…

Hello everyone! This is my first post and I don’t really post on forums ever so please excuse me if I’m not in the right place. I used the search feature and ChatGPT to search for duplicate topics and didn’t come up with anything.
I’m curious about the Creality CMS for the K1 MAX and the alpha unofficial Klipper. Has anyone tried getting the CMS to work with real Klipper? Im just guessing here but does Creality use a klipper.config file on their “custom infringment” version of Klipper and if…

I have been using this k1 for several months without issue. Rooted yesterday and installed klipper, now getting error during almost every print, then K1 shuts down. Seems to have about 10 mins into the prints.
I performed a PID of extruder and bed, saving the config between them, found no change. I did notice some odd dips in the extruder temp at the start of the print however they were not when the error occurred…

Hi, I am new to Klipper. I am looking at buying the Creality K1 3D printer and thinking of using Klipper. I use Autodesk Inventor as 3D CAD, how do I print a 3D model, and do I need Klipper.
I also use LinuxCNC and write g-code to machine metals, would Klipper also do CNC and if so, would Klipper have any advantages over LinuxCNC
