Looking at the video it is either:
- Too high homing current
- Sensitivity not optimal
Homing and meshing are unrelated.

did you follow this setup guide? Or something else?
I followed another guide, this one.
That is the whole mod, which is not applicable here to your specific problem. I meant this
[tmc2209 stepper_x]
diag_pin: ^PA1 # Set to MCU pin connected to TMC DIAG pin
driver_SGTHRS: 255 # 255 is most sensitive value, 0 is least sensitive
...
[stepper_x]
endstop_pin: tmc2209_stepper_x:virtual_endstop
homing_retract_dist: 0
...
You should follow the tuning with regards to sensorless homing or it does what you describe. The home speed and the sensitivity as well as motor amps need to be set correct for this type of homing or it goes wrong. The fact your head slams repeatedly into the frame with a high frequency rumble means that the settings are incorrect and the stepper driver does not register this as a trigger to stop and set home. It should move slowly toe frame, gently tap it and stop with one touch!
Even though you use another machine, klipper should essentially be the same so read through the guide I linked and try to understand what it wants from you before you start changing settings. And do a backup of your conig before you start as well, so you have that to fall back on if it all goes wrong.
you need to go through the tuning of the stepper drivers sensitivity to being overloaded when it hits a hard stop. If you do not do this the drivers will not recognise they are supposed to stop when it hits the frame and will try to continue
Read the documents in the link I sent you. All you need is there.
Welcome RogerSweden,
@RogerSweden @Jason_Voorhees @Fractal @pluder @iotamy
The K1 printer is in my eyes a good printer for a reasonable price from a hardware perspective.
I read a couple of threats here regarding genuine Klipper and Crealityâs K1. All of you are annoyed by âCrealityâs Klipper interpretation of firmwareâ (probably a poor choice of words).
Why donât you start a working group, many people instead of lone warriors to get genuine Klipper on the K1? I think youâll have a good chance to succeed!
If you start a working group, please do it here.
