Solved it myself after researching G28: Had no idea of all the subtleties hehe
By default, with deltas, they will home all axis when issue G28
It so happens in klipper with eg cancel print, that the axis order is specified as X Y which is causing the issue
Remove the XY so the homing sequence is not directed.
