Downgrading Klipper Version

Printer Model: Artillery Sidewinder X4 Plus
MCU / Printerboard: MKSPI (I believe it’s not exactly advertised)

klippy (8).log (39.7 KB)

So following some poor advice when I was trying to get a USB camera working on my stock SW X4 Plus. I’ve updated the OS, moonraker, klipper, mainsail (was fluidd to begin with). Whilst everything is up to date the MCU and RPI are not. Now I am unable to find any guidance on how to update the MCU as Klippers example printer.cfgs has neither the printer nor a suitable generic board.

I’m thinking it probably makes more sense to just roll back to everything as it was factory but whilst I can uninstall and know the versions of klipper it was running I don’t know how to get this to reinstall (let alone moonraker/mainsail but i’ll cross that bridge when I come to it).

I need to get back to klipper: v0.10.0-530-g3387a9c2 this version? The release section on klippers website doesn’t actually have any links.

Hi !
i’ve got the same problem, here is the link to the original Klipper version : klipper.zip

and Moonraker version too if needed
moonraker.zip

you have to stop the klipper and moonraker services and copy the folders into /hoe/mks (rename the existing ones if you want)

As they are using modified versions of Klipper, trying to upgrade is almost surely ending up in a mess.
Follow their official guide and do a factory reset: Download – Artillery3d
