Ender 3 Max Neo dual Z axis config

Hi all, about to install and just prepping for my printer.cfg. Have done a bunch of searching. The Ender 3 Max Neo (not V2) is the 300x300x400 with CR Touch and dual Z axis motors.

All the Ender 3 configs I can see only have a single Z axis defined, do I need to add the second Z axis config for this to work?

Board is a 4.2.2 with the GD chipset on it.

Cheers
Matt

The two Z axis motors are wired in parallel so they work in unison. You do not have to add a second Z axis configuration entry.

Just as a heads up, due to chip substitutions made by Creality, you may have some problems with your configuration. I know some people are working on trying to straighten things out to make it easier.

What host system are you planning on using?

Thanks for your reply. I have a Pi4B. Have successfully flashed klipper onto the Max Neo following instructions in this cfg file

raw.githubusercontent.com/Klipper3d/klipper/master/config/printer-creality-ender3pro-2020.cfg

Need to sort touch sensor and increase bed size and sort homing.

Cheers
Matt

Have successfully setup Klipper on my Max Neo with Sprite SE direct drive extruder with all features like bed mesh, auto level etc working.
