Ender 3 v2 Heater extruder not heating at expected rate

Printer Model: Moded ender 3 v2 Old Creality Spider Hotend.
MCU / Printerboard: creality
Host / SBC Mainsail
klippy.log

Fill out above information and in all cases attach your klippy.log file (use zip to compress it, if too big). Pasting your printer.cfg is not needed

Hi Guys,

i have just started getting this issue and klipper randomly shuts down. it started when i had some filament which stuck itself to a reel and wouldn’t unwind. I am printing with PETG

Hot end is the older creality spider with longer nozzles

for the parameters that control this check.

Once the underlying issue is corrected, use the
“FIRMWARE_RESTART” command to reset the firmware, reload the
config, and restart the host software.
Printer is shutdown

Hi,
Checked cables, thermistors seems to track correctly. Issue happens randomly during the print cycle. The graph looks good, what I have noticed is the the State % increases to maintain the same temp. Would this be the heater dying?

No idea, but you can 99.9% sure that the reason is among those listed in the linked article. Some issues only will appear when hot or when moving etc.

Have you checked when cold?

During print:

Some connectors and/or bad crimps can change connectivity when getting warm.
Also, have the power leads to the EBB board sufficient diameter for the power?
Stays the heater mosfet on the board cool?
