Another one! Heater extruder not heating at expected rate

Basic Information:

Printer Model: ender 3 V2
MCU / Printerboard: creality 4.2.7

3 days of googling and i am at a loss. i get the error a few minutes into a print. tried a new thermistor and new heating element and still get the same error. it looks like my temps are stable so idk what the issue is and i am just at a loss.

Hello @vac33125 !

You may see here: Heater <name> not heating at expected rate

This seems strange. According to the log, everything appears fine. It is unclear to me why Klipper is erroring out here.
Your could try to tune down the sensitivity via verify_heater but from the recorded temperature values, this seems not targeted as Klipper shouldn’t even be in the “heating window”.

This appears to be a communication issue, the MCU consistently times out after the heater fault. I believe the heater fault is a result of the MCU failing to update the temperature of the extruder on the host.

I suspect that following the guide here would be the appropriate course of action. In addition, I would make sure that the MCU itself isn’t overheating.
