This is just an idea that came from a study paper i read once.
If those who use the ADXL345 as a permanent installation, could utilize it as an Axis condition tester.
I can not code this at all, so merely a Feature Suggestion than a request!
make a simpler static test of resonance but with full motion on each axis, save it.
Each new homing sequence could then include this test but in “read” mode instead, if the resonance is equal or similar to previous, then everything is fine. if not. We have secured a problem.
Might be a belt/screw och dirt that is interfering with the motion of an axis, telling the user that the motion is not running as it once was.
