Printer Model: Flashforge Creator 3
MCU / Printerboard: Rpi and EEB42s klippy.log, not needed for this questing.
Describe your issue:
Hi, I have a Flashforge Creator 3 that I have gutted and started the conversion to klipper.
It has a camera with 5x wires as pictured. The larger black wire on the left is the shields ground, I assume the red and black on the right are 5vdc. Flashforge bricked this printer with a firmware update sometime ago after the warranty expired and immediately wanted me to buy a motherboard to fix a firmware break.
I am not a camera expert, so if anyone know how to figure it out I would appreciate it. I am assuming it just plug into USB becasue of the AU3841 chip, but I am not sure, so I am asking. Pictures attached.
Would it be safe to assume that if Pin 1 (red) is denoted as 5v, and pin 4 (white) is denoted as ground, then would Pint 2 (black) be Data-, and Pin 3 be Data+?
Get the datasheet and measure / trace the connector pins to the relevant pins on the AU chip.
(or make your life easier and ditch the crap, since you anyway do not know if you get it to run under Linux)
Sorry, been on a bit of a technology detox. Necessary every once and awhile. Making some headroom. I am almost to the config fine-tuning. It loads, just not everything is reference properly yet, and for my conversion the back of the bed will not be printable, but for my uses that is ok.
