Hi all i have switch to Orca slicer, slicing there and sending to Voron no issue. since switching to orca slicer i now have constant unknown command G2 and G3. I believe this is a firmware setup issue but i’m not sure what i’m meant to do. Any good tutorials out there.
Why do you want to use G2 or G3? It does have its uses and advantages but for normal 3d printing it is minimal. Apart from the shorter traveltimes it has little improvement on the 3d printing process. Basically pooing a blob of plastic on another blob of plastic, so the accuracy of arcs is not really needed.
The klipper firmware has it switched off by default so you must tell it you want to use it.
Lots of good info in those knowledge base articles and klipper documentation. I recommend you to read them until you are sure you cannot find your answers.
If you really do not, by all means ask again here. Good luck!
I do t want to use it but for some reason orca slicer won’t slice without using it! So I’m trying to find a want of either getting rid of arc or config Voron to use it. I am not sure on how to implement the arc configuration for Voron. The above like show it but how do I use it?
Depends on your point of view.
Orca has by default “gcode arcs” enabled, while Klipper has not. IMO, this functionality is not needed for Klipper and on the contrary potentially detrimental.
