Hotend fand is connected to FAN1 and temp set to 50. I can confirm that the led indicating FAN1 is on can be seen, but even when not enabled, the fan still runs?

Is this board new or has it ever worked before?
The config looks fine for me (despite some defaults being mentioned) if you really connected everything properly.
What happens when you switch the fans between fan1 and fan2?
Does the issue stay on port fan1? If so maybe the mosfet fires through.

This is a heart transplant
I should have thought earlier to just eg plug in the part cooling fan to test and the issue is the wiring going to the hot end…which I didnt do and I didnt realise the GPIO was actually the control line, not the volt supply.
