Describe your issue:

I am trying to setup a 2nd MCU to control an enclosure heater. I have a GT2560 that ,whilst it had a fault with controlling the stepper motors, has no issues with the heater/thermistor connections i will require using. whilst following the klipper flashing instructions on Installation - Klipper documentation I encountered my problem. whilst running ls /dev/serial/by-id/* i get the following output

klipper@Klipper-SV06:~$ ls /dev/serial/by-id/*
/dev/serial/by-id/usb-1a86_USB_Serial-if00-port0
klipper@Klipper-SV06:~$

this is the same regardless of what USB devices are attached to the laptop i am using to run kipper I only see one device listed. I have tried with just the printer connected, just the MCU i want to add, just the camera I use, the printer and the camera and the new MCU and the camera. Because of this I am unable to differentiate between the different MCUs for configuration.

UPDATE: I figures out that i can define the MCUs with /dev/serial/by-path instead of /dev/serial/by-id and this fixed my issue.
