Klipper is shutting down at random times

Printer Model: Ender S1 Pro
MCU / Printerboard:
Host / SBC

Describe your issue:

Printer keeps shutting down at random times. I thought I fixed the problem by reinstalling everything, but after 12 hours the print just stopped.

Relevant pieces from klippy.log:

‘Got EOF when reading from device’
Timeout with MCU ‘mcu’ (eventtime=55001.733976)
Transition to shutdown state: Lost communication with MCU ‘mcu’

It looks like the connection between the host and mcu failed due to the serial port disappearing.

How is your host connected to the printer and what control board is in the printer?

As ianf said, EOF when reading from device is a Linux based issue due to communication with your board.
