Currently having this issue after fixing my old Neptune 3 Pro, the disconnects are completely random, sometimes while idle, other while in a print. Printer firmware and cfg is from TheFeral Engineer, RPI is running MainsailOS 2.2.2

Already tried 2 usb b cables

RPI Powered by the internal PSU with a buck converter at 5.3V

Any help is appreciated

Your MCU is quite out of date.

Loaded MCU 'mcu' 105 commands (v0.11.0-53-gb337cc3e / gcc: (15:7-2018-q2-6) 7.3.1 20180622 (release) [ARM/embedded-7-branch revision 261907] binutils: (2.31.1-12+11) 2.31.1)
Git version: 'v0.13.0-454-ge60fe3d99'

Your Pi is current.
First thing I’d do is compile and flash new MCU firmware.

seems to be doing it less after updating the firmware on my printer and replacing the usb cable with one that has a ferrite core, any other suggestions?

Also, one thing that happens is that I need to do a firmware reboot twice to get the printer working, 2nd error is “Can not update MCU ‘mcu’ config as it is shutdown”

Can you send a new log that includes a disconnect and the “Can not update MCU”?
