Logging electrical power in history

Hi

Klipper logs many information in his history log, like used filament, time and so on. Is it possible to add a column to this list?

I have connected my printer to a Tasmota Wifi Plug for switching it on and off from remote. This plug can also measure the power consumption. This meter is easily readable with python or other scripting language.

I would like to read the meter on print start and print end and then log the difference to the history, so I can see how much power was needed for a print.

Do you know how to do such thing or maybe even there is a solution already?

Klipper does not log any of these values in his log.

Moonraker and / or the Webinterfaces are able to log more information. As such, this would have to be addressed at these projects.

Thank you for these information. I am not clear about what is done by Klipper, Moonraker and Mainsail.

The link looks very promising. I will investigate there.
