Describe your issue:
…I have performed the update following the directions according to Biqu. Which is using the Z- endstop pin, and using spare 5 volt connection, for the lack of better terms.. Having said that I have not been able to deploy the probe. I have gone over everything I could find, even tried to some of the BL Touch settings to no avail. I know one of my biggest issues is not knowing the pin outs, seems the pins are named different from what is on the mainboard. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
So that board is a 32bit board, how ever I did download the 8 bit version. And using ChatGPT. I was able to find a good pinout of the Mega2560 board that had pin designations for multiple boards. So now I am going to go through the process of testing again.
No worries. I am sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. But between double checking my config, with what Biqu published, and the Mega2560 pinout which actually had the pins for my board. I was able to get my Microprose probe to work properly.
I realize this, my LK4 Pro was one of the early versions with the 8bit board. It took me awhile to find the printer.cfg for it, which was the longer lk4 pro 2019 config.
I appreciate the knowledge sharing here. As I still work my way through the process of updating and modifying this printer and my other 2 printers (Anycubic Kobra 3, and Ender 5 Plus), I am sure I will be back on here asking more questions, but not without trying to find the answer first. For my LK4 Pro, it went from a simple update and upgrade, to frustration and now it is getting better again.
But this is the hobby I enjoy as much or more than my other hobbies. The learning curve seems steep at times but I enjoy it.
