I’m on Qidi Plus 4 and recently started getting Lost communication with MCU scanner error mid print (usually around an hour into the print)
I attach klippy.log, could someone have a look at it and tell me if there’s anything obvious ? I can see there’s a lot of bytes_retransmit=9 bytes , but don’t know why is it always 9?
Doesn’t seem like a random cable issue. Or am I wrong? klippy.log (2).txt (3.8 MB)
Hi,
no, I didn’t . I was told by cartographer people to switch to Kalico so I can switch off non critical MCU. I am waiting for ST-link v2 as apparently I will need to flash toolhead mcu as well
I’d rather find out what the problem is and fix it than mask it though. Also , I’m confident following instructions , so I can install it, but the last point there is “you can now start configuring”! And I’m not sure yet what it involves
It’s really wierd as the error only happens when printing higher temp filaments, even with enclosure opened. It’s fine printing PLA
