FFCP uses a K type Thermocouple with a MAX6675 chip,
I bought a board and attached it to the SPI pins on the SKR board with the CS connected the TH0 pin on the SKR

when I save the settings I get an error:

MCU 'mcu' shutdown: ADC out of range

Sensor 'heater_bed' temperature -42.755 not in range 0.000:130.000

This generally occurs when a heater temperature exceeds
its configured min_temp or max_temp.
Once the underlying issue is corrected, use the
"FIRMWARE_RESTART" command to reset the firmware, reload the
config, and restart the host software.
Printer is shutdown

this is the board:

any idea what I’m doing wrong?

Not sure that I follow your problem description.
The error is caused by your bed’s thermistor, which seems to be a regular NTC

You are right, I was so frustrated from days of troubleshooting that I haven’t noticed.
I solved it and now I have a different issue, the hotend temp is zero.

See this MAX6675 and K thermocouple reference voltage loss discussion for some pointers.

I tried to read it multiple times, from what I know everything is connected correctly and grounded.

I don’t have the option the change the thermistor as they recommend.
