This is the error i cant get rid of for a month
MCU ‘mcu’ shutdown: ADC out of range

Sensor ‘extruder’ temperature -99.585 not in range 0.000:300.000

This generally occurs when a heater temperature exceeds
its configured min_temp or max_temp.
Once the underlying issue is corrected, use the
“FIRMWARE_RESTART” command to reset the firmware, reload the
config, and restart the host software.
Printer is shutdown

I read in forums that this error occurs when u have a faulty Heater Cartridge or Thermistor. I replaced the Heater and still nothing. I tested the thermistor(glass bead) with a multimeter but the wire isnt busted. I bought a thermistor too but it doesnt fit for just a smidge because its a different type(rod) and i dont want to start drilling my expensive MicroSwiss NG for no reason

If the wires and thermistor connector are 100% ok, then the microcontroller port may be damaged. You can try to configure some free port and connect the thermistor to it and check. I had a kind of this problem on one of the printers. The ADC worked, but incorrectly. Up to 180 degrees the readings corresponded, but above that they did not.

It’s rather the thermistor, not the heater. So changing the latter one would not mend it.

Check the wiring, connectors and the thermistor. In idle mode, the thermistor shouöld show about room temperature.

in my case the thermistor wire goes to a daughterboard. The only port available is one marked as “fan” that i’m sure it works. Should i test the thermistor there? or there will be some kind of short circuit?

Fan” is an output, for the thermistor you need an analog input.
