Describe your issue:
I have the tmc autotune which greatly quietens the printer but when the printer does its initial adjustments it sounds terrible is there a way to call autotune immediately the for any action?
Thanks
Please attach the requested klippy.log to your next post.
Also tried without autotune?

Sorry here’s the log file.
Not sure how to turn autotune off. but as mentioned the issue is not when printing but during homing and z-tilt. When printing starts it quietens down, almost like a different machine
Hi @427theboss ,
To disable autotune, please try commenting out these lines from your config:
[autotune_tmc stepper_x]
motor = omc-17he19-2004s
tuning_goal = auto
extra_hysteresis = 0
tbl = 2
toff = 1
voltage = 24
[autotune_tmc stepper_y]
motor = omc-17he19-2004s
tuning_goal = auto
extra_hysteresis = 0
tbl = 2
toff = 1
voltage = 24
[autotune_tmc stepper_z]
motor = omc-17he19-2004s
tuning_goal = auto
extra_hysteresis = 0
tbl = 2
toff = 1
voltage = 24
[autotune_tmc stepper_z1]
motor = omc-17he19-2004s
tuning_goal = auto
extra_hysteresis = 0
tbl = 2
toff = 1
voltage = 2
[autotune_tmc stepper_z2]
motor = omc-17he19-2004s
tuning_goal = auto
extra_hysteresis = 0
tbl = 2
toff = 1
voltage = 24
i turned it off and no change.
I have the tmc autotune settings in a separate config file. Could this be the issue? as the settings aren’t being applied. I checked the Klippy logs and there are no autotune settngs in it.
Adjusted and moved the settings to be in the printer.cfg. Same effect.
I can move the gantry and z-axis by hand and everything moves freely and quietly with no binding. But when its moving it sounds terrible.
Prints however seem to come out really well
Please make an audio/video clip of that noise and post it here.
you know the simplest solutions are always the best. I had some screws loose on one of the gantries. Could have sworn i checked them all. Lesson learned also got some thread lock. To use on the prevent it happening again
